It doesn't matter where Diablo 4 Gold players come from or what their preferred platform can be played on, Blizzard have announced via a press release that its next game in the series will include multi-platform play and will not have a region lock. This will allow friends to play together without any restrictions.

Though Diablo 3 was one of the most-sellers PC titles of 2012, as Diablo 3's Ultimate Evil Edition came out for PS4 and Xbox One, it significantly transformed the game's fan base. In fact, it's the only Blizzard release on consoles in its modern-day era and it paved the way in the direction of Overwatch, Diablo 2: Resurrected and Diablo 4 to follow.

Given how well Diablo 3's gameplay was ported to consoles, players can be expecting the same level of quality from Diablo 4. This sequel is a return to the elements that makes Diablo so popular initially and still embraces the parts of Diablo 3 that were generally considered to be excellent.

But this doesn't mean buy Diablo IV Gold is just the sum of the franchise's best features - it's actually introducing an open world to Diablo and also a level of customization that's as thrilling to players as it is ambitious for developers.
