Square Enix has just revealed that a collection of Final Fantasy FFXIV Gil 14-themed whiskey based on the MMORPG's starter cities will be made available in Japan. The announcement of the themed whiskey is part of the 2023 anniversary celebrations of Final Fantasy 14 as it has already been 10 years since A Realm Reborn was released to the public.

Final Fantasy 14 fans are definitely having an exciting 2023, what with all that is happening within and outside the MMORPG. A new expansion has recently been announced, the 10th anniversary celebrations keep coming, and there is more to look forward to, given how the 2023 Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festival still has two legs to go, in London and Tokyo. With two major physical events happening soon, the community is likely hoping to know more from the development team about the future of the game, as well as new information about the upcoming expansion Dawntrail.

Making the announcement on Twitter, Nagahama Distillery shared that it has collaborated with Final Fantasy 14 to produce three types of whiskey inspired by the MMORPG's starter cities of Ul’dah, Gridania, and Limsa Lominsa. Naming the collection "FINAL FANTASY XIV AMAHAGAN," it was made to commemorate the game's 10th year this 2023. Each bottle costs 8,800 yen, which is around $61 USD. Fans will probably love the unique packaging of each whiskey, considering that both the box and bottle uses well-known key visuals of each of the cities that they are based on.

Square Enix did announce that Nagahama Distillery will participate in the Final Fantasy 14 10th anniversary celebrations as part of the collaboration with Japanese department store Isetan. The whiskey collection will be available on Isetan's online shop and during the physical anniversary events on September 28, 2023. However, Nagahama Distillery will also sell the whiskey beginning October 10, 2023, and will also bring the collection to future nationwide events. Fortunately, Isetan's online store offers worldwide shipping, but fans need to check if there are any restrictions when it comes to shipping alcohol to different countries.

The Isetan event is still a few weeks away, and there are a couple more brands that are also participating in the anniversary of Final Fantasy 14. This means that the player base can expect announcements about Final Fantasy XIV Gil more themed products and merchandise very soon. Fans should follow the MMORPG's official channels if they want to be the first ones to know if there are any new updates from Final Fantasy 14.
